The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $9.807 million.
For foreign currency, the businesses from the Afghanistan, Malta and other countries purchased ECO-93 gasoline produced by the Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas) State Concern. The Afghan businesses also bought heavy vacuum gas oil produced at the Seydi oil refinery, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.
The business circles of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan purchased painted terry products and aerated concrete blocks.
The UAE-based companies also purchased cotton yarn for over 10.25 million manats.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 9 transactions last week.
