Foreign Businesses Buy Turkmen Petrochemicals and Cotton Yarn
The business circles of Russia, Turkey and Azerbaijan purchased terry products and cotton yarn.

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $2.252 million.

The UK-based businesses bought ECO-93 gasoline produced by the Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas) State Concern for foreign currency, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.

The business circles of Russia, Turkey and Azerbaijan purchased terry products and cotton yarn.

Companies from the UAE and Turkey bought cotton yarn for over 82,000 manats.

For the domestic market, local businesses purchased petroleum coke produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, high density polyethylene and polypropylene produced by Türkmengaz SC, cotton fiber and hand-made carpets for a total amount of about 590 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 176 transactions last week.
