Foreign businesses purchased plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, cotton fabric and yarn.

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $8.027 million.

The businesses based in Turkey and Afghanistan bought hydrotreated diesel fuel and liquefied gas produced by Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries for foreign currency, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.

The business circles of Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Turkey purchased plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, cotton fabric and yarn.

Companies from Russia, the UAE, Turkey and Kazakhstan bought cotton yarn for over 20.774 million manats.

For the domestic market, local businesses purchased polymer granules, polypropylene and packaging film for a total amount of over 12.178 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 29 transactions last week.
