EU Countries Import Over 12,000 Tons of Turkmen Petroleum Products
In February, the EU countries imported from Turkmenistan 57,678 tons of petroleum products.

The member countries of the European Union (EU) imported 12,028 tons of mineral fuels, oils and distillation products, bituminous substances and mineral wax for over $4.7 million euros in March 2021 from Turkmenistan, Trend news agency reported on Friday with reference to data from the Eurostat.

In February, the EU countries imported from Turkmenistan 57,678 tons of these products worth 21.7 million euros, and in January -155,633 tons worth 49.3 million euros, according to Eurostat.

In 2020, the EU countries imported from Turkmenistan 734,578 tons of mineral fuels, oils and distillation products, bituminous substances and mineral wax for a total amount of 196.8 million euros.

EU Ambassador to Turkmenistan Diego Ruiz Alonso previously noted that the EU is currently in the process of planning cooperation with Turkmenistan for the period 2021-2027, holding consultations with partners and different interested organizations.
