President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during his visit to the country's northern velayat of Dashoguz took part in the opening ceremony of the Türkmeniň Ak Öýi (Turkmen White Yurt) building in the administrative center of the region, the country's official media reports.
In accordance with the Resolution of the Head of State signed in 2018, Röwşen Individual Enterprise, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), erected the new building.
The new building complex includes a separate premise with 3 thousand seats for holding sadaqah, an open area for organizing cultural events, a parking lot, and a technical block.
The building, located on a total area of around 21 thousand square meters, is 40 meters high and 80 meters wide.
Congratulating everyone on Eid al-Adha, the Head of State took part in the festive sadaqah.
On the same day, Turkmen President also took part in the opening ceremony of a residential complex along Gorogly Street in the southwestern part of the city of Dashoguz. The residential complex consists of 15 new four-storey buildings and has 368 apartments. Of these, 48 apartments are designed for those in need of housing.
Dashoguz’s plant of reinforced concrete products of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production built the residntial complex. Private structures – the Derkar Economic Society and the Merdana Doganlar Individual Enterprise – also contributed to the implementation of the residential project.
New buildings of "Türkmeniň ak öýi" were previously opened in Lebap and Balkan velayats in honor of the 30th anniversary of the country's independence.
