Turkmenistan’s Gamyşlyjanebit oil and gas production department, operating in the country’s western velayat of Balkan, extracted 361,400 tons of crude oil in the first six months of 2021, the online newspaper of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan reported on Tuesday.
The department, owned by the Türkmennebit (Turkmen Oil) State Concern, is reportedly equipped with modern advanced machinery and installations.
The department operates at the Shatut, Kerem and Altyguyi fields in Balkan velayat.
The Türkmennebit SC is presently constructing 11 production and two exploration wells in the North Goturdepe field.
