Turkmenistan to Supply 501.9 Million kWh of Electricity to Kyrgyzstan
The relevant contract was signed by the Minister of Energy of Turkmenistan Charymyrat Purchekov and the Minister of Energy and Industry of Kyrgyzstan Doskul Bekmurzayev.

Turkmenistan will supply 501.9 million kWh of electricity to Kyrgyzstan from August to December 2021, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Energy and Industry said on Wednesday.

The relevant contract was signed by the Minister of Energy of Turkmenistan Charymyrat Purchekov and the Minister of Energy and Industry of Kyrgyzstan Doskul Bekmurzayev, according to the report.

As part of the reached agreement, Turkmenistan has already exported 19.2 million kWh of electricity to Kyrgyzstan by August 9.

Last Friday, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov during the talks in the Avaza National Tourist Zone touched on the topic of delivery of natural gas and electricity from Turkmenistan to Kyrgyzstan.
