Turkish company Çalik Enerji carries out the construction of the center for the repair and maintenance of power equipment in Buzmeyin etrap of Ashgabat. The company builds the new facility upon order of the Türkmenenergo (Turkmen Energy) State Corporation, the country’s official media reported on Tuesday.
The company has erected the office building, which will house a training center and premises for service center personnel, installed with computer equipment, conference rooms and other premises.
In addition, workshops with an area of more than 4 thousand square meters have been built on the territory of the center. The workshops will be equipped with high-tech machines for restoring parts from gas turbines using technologies from leading manufacturers.
Overhead cranes were installed in each section of the workshops for transporting and supplying complex equipment to specialized premises.
The Turkish company prepares to commission a transformer equipment maintenance unit, which will house innovative technologies to repair electric generators, transformer substations of various capacities, electrical panels and other power equipment. The company also prepares to commission a warehouse building, a chemicals workshop, a technical building for servicing the entire service center.
Çalik Enerji is to complete the creation of the largest modern high-tech base in Central Asia for the Türkmenenergoabatlaýyş enterprise in 2022. For the first time in local conditions, it will be possible to carry out service maintenance of powerful gas turbines installed in Turkmen power plants.
