Turkmenabat Chemical Plant named after S.A. Niyazov in Turkmenistan’s Lebap velayat produced 55.8 million manats worth of products during the first seven months of 2021, fulfilling the production plan by 106.6%, the country’s official media reported on Wednesday.
The enterprise’s output of phosphate fertilizers, its main production, amounted to 151,480 tons. The plant fulfilled the phosphate fertilizer production plan for the period by 130%.
In January-July period of this year, the plant also produced 307 tons of bleach, which is used in disinfection works.
Turkmenabat Chemical Plant, together with the Ussat Ýardamçy Economic Society, organized the production of coagulants for the purification of drinking water on the territory of the plant. The plant's capacity allows the annual production of 15 thousand tons of coagulants.
Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern’s Turkmenabat Chemical Plant, which is one of the country’s largest chemical facilities, employs about 1,400 people and unites 26 production workshops.
