Export Trades at Turkmen State Exchange Nears $32 Million
The foreign businesses purchased Turkmen gasoline, aviation kerosene, liquefied gas and polypropylene.

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $31.712 million.

For foreign currency, the businesses from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Russia, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Switzerland, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Turkey purchased gasoline, aviation kerosene, liquefied gas and polypropylene produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR), the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.

The foreign companies also bought cotton yarn produced by the textile complexes of the Ministry of the Textile Industry, as well as unpeeled dried roots and rhizomes of licorice produced at the enterprises of the Ministry of Healthcare and the Medical Industry.

The companies based in the UAE and Armenia also purchased cotton yarn for over 39.27 million manats.

For the domestic market, local businesses purchased Portland cement and polypropylene products. The total amount of transactions amounted to more than $541 thousand and 3.7 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 46 transactions last week.
