President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during the Cabinet of Ministers meeting on Wednesday signed a number of documents on the appointment and dismissal of some high-level government officials, the country’s official media reports.
The Vice Premier of Turkmenistan Mammemyrat Geldiniyazov, overseeing science, education, healthcare and sports spheres, was relieved of his post for serious shortcomings in his work. The Head of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Sapardurdy Toyliyev was appointed to his position.
For serious shortcomings in his work, Orazgeldi Gurbanov was dismissed from the post of Minister of Education. Gurbanguly Atayeva, who previously headed the Central Council of the Women's Union and the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, became the new Minister of Education of the country.
Turkmen President also signed Resolution on the release of Arslangylych Gylyjov from the post of Deputy Minister of Healthcare and Medical Industry - Head of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service. Myrat Mammedov was appointed to his position and was dismissed from the post of Director General of the Directorate of Centers for Infectious Diseases.
Annamyrat Rejepov became the new Director General of the Directorate of Centers for Infectious Diseases of the Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also dismissed Bekmyrat Ovezov for serious shortcomings in his work from the post of Chairman of State Migration Service of Turkmenistan and appointed Nazar Atagarayev as the new Chairman of the State Migration Service.
The Cabinet of Ministers meeting also considered the results of the work of the Emergency Commission of Turkmenistan to Combat the Spread of Diseases and other relevant issues and made appropriate decisions.
