The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered 20 transactions last week.

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week neared $12 million.

For foreign currency, companies based in Switzerland, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Malta purchased gasoline and aviation kerosene produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR). cotton yarns and different fabrics manufactured at the enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan were also sold to foreign companies via the exchange, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.

Businesses from the UAE and Pakistan purchased Turkmen cotton yarn for over 6.35 million manats.

For the domestic market, local businesses purchased plastic products for over 4.7 million manats, and Portland cement for over $98 thousand.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered 20 transactions last week.
