Turkmen Healthcare Institutions Receive Dozen Mercedes-Benz Ambulances
Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan received 10 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 224 Panel ambulances.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the relevant Resolution on the provision of the ambulances with the aim of improving the quality of emergency medical care for the population, the country’s official media reported on Thursday.
The Resolution authorized the transfer of 10 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 224 Panel ambulances to the Ministry of Healthcare and Medical Industry of the country from the reserve fund of the President of Turkmenistan.
In August, during a working trip to Ahal velayat, the Head of Turkmenistan also donated 10 new ambulances from the Charitable Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship for the pediatric departments of hospitals in the velayat.
