The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $21.2 million.
For foreign currency, companies based in Turkey, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan purchased A-95 gasoline, aviation kerosene and liquefied gas produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, colorless sheet glass produced at enterprises of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan and tomatoes produced by Ýigit Economic Society, the official media of Turkmenistan reports.
Businesses of the UAE purchased cotton yarn produced at the enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan. The total amount of transactions exceeded 5.6 million manats.
For the domestic market, local businesses purchased motor oils worth 813 thousand manats.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered 28 transactions last week.
