The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week neared $16 million.
For foreign currency, companies based in the UK and the UAE purchased low-sulfur fuel oil produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Sunday.
The companies based in the UK, the UAE, Turkey and Afghanistan purchased automobiles, float sheet glass, cotton yarn and vegetable products.
The Emirati businesses bought cotton yarn for over 1.8 million manats.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered 9 transactions last week.
