The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $3 million.
For foreign currency, the businesses from Russia, the UK, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kyrgyzstan purchased cotton yarn, while the Kazakh businesses bought float sheet glass, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.
The businesses based in the UAE, the UK and Kazakhstan also purchased cotton yarn for over 16.77 million manats.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 15 transactions last week.
