President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during the cabinet meeting on Friday addressed specific instructions to Deputy Chairman of the Government, Foreign Rashid Meredov on the holding of a high-level meeting in the Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Turkey format next year.
The government meeting was also attended by the heads of diplomatic missions and consular offices of Turkmenistan in foreign countries, the official media of Turkmenistan reports.
Berdimuhamedov said the recent talks with the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev resulted in the agreements on specific areas of cooperation.
During the talks, Presidents of the three countries confirmed their readiness for a comprehensive strengthening of relations, including in the interregional cooperation between the regions of the Caspian and Black Seas, where Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey play a major role, according to the Turkmen Leader.
The cabinet meeting included discussions on the issues of the state domestic and foreign policy.
