The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $63.54 million.
For foreign currency, the businesses based in the UAE, Switzerland, Turkey, China’s Hong Kong, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan purchased gasoline, diesel fuel and lighting kerosene produced at Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.
At the same time, the businesses from the UAE, Afghanistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan bought petroleum bitumen and diesel fuel of Seydi Oil Refinery.
For the domestic market, local businesses purchased fabrics from polypropylene yarn produced at the Turkmenbashi refinery and hand-made carpets for 867 thousand manats.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 47 transactions last week.
