Export Trades at Turkmen Exchange For Jan. 17-22: $54 Million
Foreign businesses purchased lighting and aviation kerosene, polypropylene, heating oil, petroleum coke and bitumen produced in Turkmenbashi refinery.

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week amounted to $54 million.

For foreign currency, the businesses based in Russia, the UAE, Switzerland, Germany, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan purchased lighting and aviation kerosene, polypropylene, heating oil, petroleum coke and bitumen produced at Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, and colorless glass products, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.

The Turkish and Serbian businesses purchased products for removing rust and oil from metal surfaces, and dry extract of licorice.

The UK-based companies acquired 87 thousand manats worth of products of Turkmen medical industry.

For the domestic market, local businesses purchased cotton yarn for $254 thousand, and hand-made carpets and cotton fiber for over 1.61 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 26 transactions last week.
