Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a phone call with President-elect of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on Thursday.
Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed conveyed to Serdar Berdimuhamedov the congratulations of President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his election victory.
Sheikh Mansour also conveyed to the President-elect the UAE leader's wishes of success in performing his presidential duties and serving his people, the UAE’s official news agency WAM reports.
In a phone call, the sides discussed the next phase of UAE-Turkmenistan relations and prospects for developing cooperation in various fields that serve their common interests.
For his part, Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed his thanks and appreciation to Sheikh Mansour for his sincere wishes. He also wished the UAE the continuing development and prosperity, adding he's looking forward to more fruitful cooperation over the coming period.
During another phone call with Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, the President of Turkmenistan, Sheikh Mansour discussed promoting the friendship and strategic partnership between the two countries, highlighting the UAE's pride in their long-standing relations.
He also commended the efforts of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and his key role in boosting UAE-Turkmenistan relations across various fields during the past period.
