Turkmen President Congratulates Biden on 30th Anniversary of Diplomatic Ties
President Berdimuhamedov wished President Joseph Biden good health, happiness and well-being, and to the people of the US – progress and prosperity.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent congratulations and best wishes to President Joseph Biden of the United States and the people of the country on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.

President Berdimuhamedov said Turkmenistan has established friendly ties with the US that continue to be successfully developed, and highlighted the ongoing cooperation between the two countries in political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Turkmenistan intends to gradually expand and strengthen positive interaction with the US, President Berdimuhamedov stated, adding that to this end the Turkmen side counts on joint efforts to bring relations to a higher constructive level.

Berdimuhamedov pointed out that Turkmenistan located along the Great Silk Road has not only favorable geographical conditions, but at the same time also enormous reserves of natural resources. The Head of Turkmenistan stressed that the country is ready for international cooperation on the basis of openness and equality to further develop its economy.

Highlighting the activities of leading US companies in the Turkmen market, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the fruitful business contacts with the US in civil aviation, agriculture, electricity and banking. He expressed readiness to work together to take bilateral relations to a new level by making use of existing opportunities.

Turkmenistan and the United States established diplomat ties on April 10, 1992.
