The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) has launched a new website to expand electronic trading and provide additional information to brokers, the Ashgabat-based Orient news agency reported, citing the announcement made at the SCRMET meeting on Monday.
The users of the website Tmex.gov.tm will be able to promptly receive data on exchange trades and quotes. They will also receive analytical and other relevant information. At the moment registration on the site is free.
The registered users can place ads for exchange commodities and order products of Turkmen producers. Each user can act as a seller and as a buyer.
The website allows easy search for the necessary products within the sections of petrochemicals, construction materials, light industry, agriculture, machinery, services, food, electronics, textile and furniture.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan is the main government structure regulating export-import operations in the country.
