Turkmen, Tatar Commerce Chambers Expand Strategic Partnership
The Turkmen and Tatar CCIs agreed to exchange necessary materials for fruitful joint activities.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tatarstan Republic and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan on Thursday held a video conference on topic "Expanding strategic partnership", the Tatar CCI said in its press release.

The meeting was attended by the Head of the CCI of Tatarstan Shamil Ageyev, the Head of CCI of Turkmenistan Dovletgeldi Rejepov, the Deputy Head of the Tatar CCI Dmitriy Shevelev, the First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov.

During the talks, Dovletgeldi Rejepov stressed the need to develop export relations and the readiness of the Turkmen CCI to assist in matters that arise at the moment for export-oriented enterprises.

The Turkmen side presented information on the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the textile industry of Turkmenistan and the presentation of the logistics company Turkmenlogistik.

The Consul General of Turkmenistan in Kazan Atadurdy Bayramov, representative of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan in Kazan Begendik Artykov, businesspeople, exporters and the media of both countries also attended the online conference.

During the meeting, Dmitry Shevelev made a presentation on "Territories of advanced socio-economic development in Tatarstan". Irina Kupryakhina, Director of the company IREN Sewing Workshop, Chairman of the Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry of Tatarstan, asked the Turkmen side to assist in procurement of necessary fabrics for production.

The First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan Nail Zalakov emphasized that the Ministry has long been actively cooperating with Turkmenistan and invited the Turkmen side to participate in the International Agricultural Exhibition AGROVOLGA 2022.

At the end of the event, the parties agreed to exchange necessary materials for fruitful joint activities, and Chairman of the Turkmen CCI Rejepov invited representatives of the Tatar CCI and the business circles of the Republic to visit Turkmenistan.
