Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty chamber of Turkmen bicameral parliament Milli Gengesh, on Thursday went on a working visit to Turkmenistan’s western province of Balkan to inspect preparations for the summer season in the Avaza National Tourist Zone on the Caspian coast.
At the tourist zone, the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty first got acquainted with the progress of construction of the cottage complex, which has entered its final stage, the country's official media reports.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov suggested naming the new cottage complex corresponding to the spirit of modernity, and asked the domestic businesspeople for suggestions in this regard. He then approved the proposal to call it Rowaç.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also visited the multidisciplinary hospital in the city of Turkmenbashi, which opened last month, and inquired about the health of children in the hospital and the medical services of the facility.
During the cabinet meeting last week, President Serdar Berdymukhamedov in connection with the approaching summer vacation season, instructed to explore the possibilities for recreation in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.
