For foreign currency, the businesses from the UK, the UAE, Turkey, China’s Hong Kong, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased products of Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries.

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $48.86 million.

For foreign currency, the businesses from the UK, the UAE, Turkey, China’s Hong Kong, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased gasoline, hydrotreated diesel fuel, aviation kerosene, liquefied gas and paraffin slack produced at Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.

The companies from Turkey, the UAE, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased polyethylene of Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern.

Additionally, the business circles mainly from Turkey and Kyrgyzstan purchased plain-dyed and jacquard terry products, and cotton yarn for foreign currency.

The Indian businesses also bought cotton yarn for more than 1.19 million manats.

For the domestic market, local businesses purchased HDPE of Türkmenhimiýa SC, and hand-made carpets for more than 18.43 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 49 transactions last week.
