Turkmenistan’s Seydi Refinery Processes 162.8 Thousand Tons of Oil
The refinery produced 155.9 thousand tons of finished products.

Seydi Oil Refinery in Turkmenistan’s eastern province of Lebap has processed around 162.8 thousand tons of crude oil over the first four months of this year.

As a result of the processing, the refinery produced 155.9 thousand tons of finished products. The plant mainly produced gasoline – 83.5 thousand tons of it. That compares to over 76.4 thousand tons produced during the same period of last year, the online newspaper of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan reported on Thursday.

Seydi refinery, part of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, also produced 43.5 thousand tons of diesel fuel during the period. The production of road bitumen and vacuum gas oil also reached a high level.

The newspaper said the experts attribute these successes to the modernization and commissioning of new production facilities at the refinery.

Last year, Seydi Oil Refinery produced 220,83 tons of gasoline, more than 135 thousand tons of diesel, 22.5 thousand tons of fuel oil, nearly 35 thousand tons of road bitumen and other petroleum products.
