Dowamly Bina Economic Society will soon commission a 2000-ton refrigerated warehouse for fruits, vegetables, and gourds in Turkmenistan’s Ahal province, the major business union of the country – Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) – announced on Thursday.
The project, which is now under construction in the industrial zone of the UIET in Ak Bugday district of Ahal province, is undergoing full computerization of the equipment, monitoring and adjustment work.
The facility will be equipped with modern Turkish machinery. Conditions for storage of different kinds of foodstuff will be created in the refrigerated compartments of the warehouse, according to the report.
During the annual harvest, the company intends to buy vegetables from local entrepreneurs and farmers, clean them and place each of the high-quality products in the refrigerated units according to the storage conditions. In the coming days, the refrigerated warehouse will be up and running.
