Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty chamber of Turkmen bicameral parliament Milli Gengesh, on Tuesday on behalf of the Head of State made a working visit to the country’s northern province of Dashoguz.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov started his visit with the tour of the recently opened multidisciplinary hospital in the province’s administrative center and inquired about the well-being of young patients that will undergo surgery, the level of medical services and the results of treatment, the country's official media reports,
The Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty said the Charitable Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship will provide the necessary assistance to the children and wished the parents a speedy recovery of their children.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also gifted presents to children undergoing treatment at the hospital.
At the hospital, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with participation of Deputy Minister of Healthcare and Medical Industry Germanov and Chief Doctor of the Dashoguz multidisciplinary hospital Gurbanov, who briefed on the mode of operation of the departments and measures taken to improve professional skills of medical staff.
The Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty also visited the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, where he met with teachers and students to discuss issues and exchange views on how to further develop and teach agricultural science, implement the digital system, and train qualified specialists for the agricultural sector.
