President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov appointed new deputy chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers during the expanded government meeting on Saturday.
During the joint meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council, the Head of State dismissed Esenmyrat Orazgeldiyev as the Deputy Chairman of the Turkmen Government in charge of the agro-industrial complex, the country’s official media reports.
President Berdimuhamedov expressed dissatisfaction with Orazgeldiyev’s managerial work, the financial situation in the agro-industrial complex, water supply, and land reclamation.
The Head of State appointed Annageldy Yazmyradov, who until then held the post of presidential advisor on agriculture, the new Vice-Premier in charge of the agro-industrial complex.
Chary Gylyjov, the Deputy Chairman of the Turkmen Government overseeing the country’s trade and textile complex, was also relieved of his post for the shortcomings in his work.
President Berdimuhamedov appointed Batyr Atdayev the new Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet overseeing the country’s trade and textile complex, relieving him from the post of the Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan.
The interim duties of the Prosecutor General was entrusted to the Deputy Prosecutor General, the head of the Main Department Begmyrat Begmyradov.
The government meeting summed up the results of the work of the sectors of the national economy for five months of this year, and considered drafts of a number of documents and other matters of state policy.
