Thursday Trades at Turkmen Commodity Exchange: $82.5 Million
Businesses from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased 80 thousand tons of ECO-93 gasoline.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Thursday trades registered five deals for a total of $82.5 million and 937,000 manats.

Businesses from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased 80 thousand tons of ECO-93 gasoline. During the trades, its price increased by 3.8% compared to Wednesday’s auction and amounted to $1,028 per ton. The total amount of transactions for gasoline produced from natural gas amounted to $82.2 million, the SCRMET said in its press release.

Additionally, the Kyrgyz business concluded a deal to purchase 88 tons of cotton yarn for $297.4 thousand and the Emirati company purchased 22 tons of cotton yarn for 937.5 thousand manats.

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded $83 million.
