The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $23.1 million.
For foreign currency, the businesses from the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan purchased polypropylene and aviation kerosene produced by the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, the official Turkmen media reported on Monday.
The Turkish and Afghan companies purchased refined gasoline produced at the Seydi Oil Refinery of the TCOR. The US businesses purchased carbon black of Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern.
The business circles from Turkey, Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan purchased cotton yarn for foreign currency during the last week’s trades.
The companies from the UAE, Turkey, India, and Kazakhstan additionally procured cotton yarn for more than 8.88 million manats.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 24 transactions last week.
