Turkish Business Buys Turkmen Cotton Yarn Worth Nearly $1.6 Million
More than 482 thousand kilograms of the Turkmen cotton yarns will be exported under the deal registered at the SCRMET.

The company from Turkey procured different types of cotton yarn for nearly $1.6 million during Tuesday trades at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

Under the deal registered at the Exchange, more than 482 thousand kilograms of the cotton yarns, produced at the enterprises of Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan, will be exported, the SCRMET announced on Wednesday.

During the Monday trades, the businesses from Kyrgyzstan and India procured more than 400 thousand kilograms of different types of cotton yarn.

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded $23.1 million.
