Turkmenistan for the first times demonstrates its textile industry potential at the Import Goods Fair 2022 that kicked off in Korea’s capital Seoul on Thursday.

The fair participants and visitors get to see Turkmenistan's environmentally friendly textile products, including high-quality clothes, knitwear, jeans, keteni fabric, different types of cotton and silk fabrics, and clothing from Turkmen producers such as Nusaý, Gala, Goza, Merw and Bedew, the official Turkmen media reports.

The national pavilion, along with books of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, also features printed materials about a number of achievements of Turkmenistan, Turkmen carpets, national handicrafts and jewelry.

The participation of Turkmen national products in this international exhibition is of special importance as this year marks the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Korea, according to the media.

Exhibition of Turkmen products at this exhibition will reportedly be a major contribution to the bilateral relations between the countries.

The exhibition will run until June 25 this year. Representatives of 70 companies from more than 60 countries exhibit their products at this fair.
