The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $15 million.
For foreign currency, the Afghan businesses purchased aviation kerosene and hydrotreated diesel fuel produced by the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries.
Liquefied gas produced at the enterprise of the Türkmengaz (Turkmen Gas) State Concern was also sold to companies from the UAE, Turkey and Afghanistan, the official Turkmen media reported on Monday.
The Afghan businesses also procured liquefied gas of Seydi Oil Refinery. The companies from Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan purchased plain-dyed and jacquard terry products.
For the Turkmen currency, the Turkish businesses procured Turkmen cotton yarn. The total amount of transactions neared 390 thousand manats.
For the domestic market, the local businesses bought technical sulfur of Türkmengaz SC and handmade carpets for around 80 million manats.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 40 transactions last week.
