Wednesday Export Trades at Turkmen Commodity Exchange: Cotton Yarn
The businesses from Armenia and Kyrgyzstan procured cotton yarn for $3.4 million during the trades.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan on Wednesday registered deals for the export of different types of cotton yarn produced at the enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan.

The businesses from Armenia and Kyrgyzstan procured cotton yarn for $3.4 million during the trades, the SCRMET announced on Thursday.

On the same day, Turkish companies bought cotton yarn for 8.8 million manats.

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded $15 million.

Established in 1994, the SCRMET is the main body regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
