Turkmen Refinery Produces 218 Thousand Tons of Kerosene
The refinery’s six-month kerosene output is 387 tons more compared to the same period last year.

Turkmenbashi Oil Refinery, Turkmenistan’s major oil processing plant, produced around 218 thousand tons of kerosene of different types in the first half of this year.

The refinery’s six-month kerosene output is 387 tons more compared to the same period last year, the country’s official media reported on Wednesday.

Among the total kerosene output around 177 thousand tons are TC-1 aviation kerosene and around 11 thousand tons are Jet A-1 aviation kerosene.

During the period the refinery on the Caspian coast processed nearly 2.4 million tons of crude oil. The plant’s output includes more than 20 different fuel and petrochemical products.

Turkmenbashi refinery is part of the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR). TCOR also includes Seydi Oil Refinery located in the country’s eastern province of Lebap.
