Turkmenistan-Georgia Trade Surges 19.3% in H1 2022
Turkmenistan’s exports to Georgia in January-June 2022 amounted to $102.2 million.

Trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Georgia increased by 19.3% in the first half of 2022, Trend news agency reported on Thursday with reference to the National Statistical Committee of Georgia.

During the period, the total trade turnover between Georgia and Turkmenistan reached $112.5 million. During the same period last year, the countries traded $94.3 million worth of products.

Turkmenistan’s exports to Georgia in January-June 2022 amounted to $102.2 million, a 16.6% increase compared to the same period in 2021.

During this six-month period, Turkmenistan also increased imports from Georgia by 52% compared to the same period in 2021 – up to $ 10.3 million.

In 2021, Turkmenistan became the main supplier of oil and petroleum products to Georgia.
