Export Trades at Turkmen Exchange For August 15-20: $29.7 Million
Foreign businesses purchased aviation kerosene produced by the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries.

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $29.7 million, the country’s official media reports.

For foreign currency, the businesses from Turkey, Afghanistan, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan purchased straight-run gasoline, hydrotreated diesel fuel, automobile gasoline and aviation kerosene produced by the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, and the companies from Uzbekistan and the UAE procured urea and technical iodine produced by plants of Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern.

During the trades last week, the Turkish and Kyrgyz businesses made deals to buy cotton yarn and dyed terry products.

The Indian business circles procured cotton yarn worth more than 9.7 million manats.

For the domestic market, local businesses procured high density polyethylene of Türkmenhimiýa for a total amount of 3.96 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 36 transactions last week.
