Turkish, Afghan Businesses Procure Liquefied Gas Through Turkmen Commodity Exchange
Businesses from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased a total of 4.55 thousand tons of the liquefied gas.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Tuesday trades registered 8 deals worth a total of nearly $2.1 million for the procurement of liquefied gas.

Businesses from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased a total of 4.55 thousand tons of the liquified gas. The price for a ton of the fuel amounted to $460.5, the SCRMET announced on Wednesday.

The liquefied gas that was sold during the trades was produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries in the Balkan province of Turkmenistan.

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the SCRMET amounted to more than $10.26 million.

Established in 1994, the SCRMET is the main body regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
