The financial-banking complex of Turkmenistan should analyze the issues that hamper the proper operation of local production enterprises and find a solution that would give prompt results, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty chamber of the country’s bicameral parliament Milli Gengesh, said during the Halk Maslakhaty meeting on Wednesday.

“In connection with the situation in the world, the issue of support by the financial system and banks of the country's production enterprises is also a priority,” Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said, adding that “we cannot put up with difficulties in transferring payments, artificial barriers to the conversion of national currency into freely circulating foreign currency, the use of incomplete production capacity due to the untimely delivery of necessary raw materials.”

We know that there are such enterprises, the Halk Maslakhaty Chairman stated, noting that when they are properly operated, more products will be produced, the amount of taxes paid will increase and, as a result, the budget revenues will rise.

In accordance with the "Program of the President of Turkmenistan for socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028", the country will make capital investments in the amount of over 1.35 billion manats. Certain volumes of capital investments will be directed to the construction of facilities and structures for industrial, social and cultural purposes.
