The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Tuesday trades registered deals worth a total of $4.3 million for the procurement of polypropylene, aviation kerosene and diesel fuel.
The company from the United Arab Emirates purchased 2,000 tons of TC-1 aviation kerosene at a price of $971 per ton. The total amount of the deal was $1.9 million, the SCRMET announced on Thursday.
The Afghan businesses bought diesel fuel L-0,2-62 for $1.3 million, as well as 700 tons of polypropylene TPP D382BF for $889 thousand dollars. The price of one ton of the diesel sold during the auction was $867.25, while the price of a ton of the polypropylene was $1,270.
The business from Kyrgyzstan purchased 23 thousand kilograms of terry products for $126.5 thousand.
The Turkish businesses procured different kinds of cotton yarn of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan for 4.4 million manats.
Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the SCRMET amounted to more than $27 million.
