Thursday Export Trades in Turkmen Commodity Exchange Exceed $17.9 million
Businesses from Afghanistan procured 15,430 tons of TC-1 aviation kerosene for more than $11.95 million

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Thursday trades registered deals in foreign currency for the procurement of aviation kerosene, hydrotreated diesel fuel, cotton yarn and portland cement. The deals amounted to more than $17.9 million.

Businesses from Afghanistan procured 15,430 tons of TC-1 aviation kerosene for more than $11.95 million, as well as 4,000 tons of hydrotreated diesel fuel for more than $3.49 million. The price of a ton of aviation kerosene sold at the auction was $774.5, and the price of a ton of the diesel fuel was $872.5, according to the SCRMET data.

The Afghan business also purchased 10,000 tons of portland cement worth $400 thousand. The price of a ton of this product amounts to $40.

The Emirati companies also purchased 2,500 tons of TC-1 aviation kerosene for more than $1.93 million.

Turkish entrepreneurs purchased 52,800 kilograms of cotton yarn for foreign currency, and 35,200 kilograms of this product for Turkmen manats. The total amount of transactions amounted to $145.2 thousand and more than 1.58 million manats.

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the SCRMET amounted to more than $18.45 million.
