Residential Complex For 1,280 Families Opens in Turkmenistan’s Turkmenabat City
Sports grounds, children's playgrounds and areas for holding various events and celebrations were built nearby the residential buildings.

A new residential complex designed to house 1,280 families was commissioned in the administrative center of Turkmenistan’s eastern province Lebap along the highway to Turkmenabat International Airport.

The solemn ceremony was organized on the eve of the International Day of Neutrality to mark the opening of the residential complex, the country’s official media reported on Saturday.

The complex, covering 96 hectares of land, includes 40 four-storey residential buildings with 32 apartments each. Sports grounds, children's playgrounds and areas for holding various events and celebrations were built nearby the residential buildings.

The construction contractors of the new complex are the Lebapgurluşyk (Lebap Construction) Production Association of provincial administration, the Şähergurluşyk we Hyzmat state enterprise under the city administration, and the Demirbetonönümleri and Demirbetonkonstruksiýa enterprises of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan.

A number of private Turkmen companies, including Zehinli Ussa, Jöwher Gala, Ýyndam Gurluşyk, Dowamly Nyşan, Asuda Nesil and Saldamly Goşant also participated in the construction of the buildings.

A new four-storey residential building also opened in the province’s Seydi city. It is designed for the families of the Seydi Oil Refinery employees.
