President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory letter to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on his 61st birthday, the Press Service of the President of Azerbaijan announced on Thursday.
"Today, under your leadership, the Republic of Azerbaijan is confidently following the path of dynamic development, achieving outstanding successes in all areas of society and consistently strengthening its authority in the world,” President Berdimuhamedov said in his congratulatory letter, adding that, “Highly appreciating the current level of Turkmenistan's multifaceted partnership with the Republic of Azerbaijan, I would like to note your personal attention and enormous contribution to the development of interstate relations."
"I recall with pleasant impressions the recent meeting with you in the framework of the first trilateral summit of Heads of State of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey in the Avaza National tourist zone, during which the parties reaffirmed their commitment to steadily expand and strengthen cooperation between our countries in both bilateral and multilateral formats. I am convinced that fruitful cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Azerbaijan will continue to develop successfully in the best traditions of friendship and good neighborliness for the benefit of our peoples," Turkmenistan’s Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev good health, happiness and family welfare, and to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan – peace, further progress and prosperity.
