Turkmenistan’s Balkan Province to Build, Reconstruct 20 Social Facilities
Among the facilities that will be built are four hospitals, three polyclinics and a health center, one preschool institution, six secondary schools, and one cultural center.

In 2022-2028 years, 20 social buildings and facilities will be built and reconstructed in Turkmenistan's western province Balkan, the country’s official media reported on Wednesday.

Construction of the facilities will be carried out within the framework of the "National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for improvement of social and living conditions in villages, settlements, towns and district centers till 2028" adopted in July this year.

Among the facilities that will be built are four hospitals, three polyclinics and a health center, one preschool institution, six secondary schools, and one cultural center.

In addition, 743.37 km of water pipelines, two water treatment plants, 25 vertical wells, 112 km of sewage, one sewage treatment plant, 244.09 km of roads, 212 km of gas pipelines and 347.5 km of electric lines, 89.5 km of telephone network and 4,416 telephone numbers will be commissioned in the province.

During the period, the province will also build 710.48 thousand square meters of residential premises.
