Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty chamber of the Turkmenistan’s bicameral parliament Milli Gengesh on Saturday inspected the pace of construction of a new modern administrative center of Ahal province – the city of Arkadag, including the projects of facilities that will be built under the second stage of its development.
Emphasizing the historical significance of the new modern city, the Halk Maslakhaty Chairman said it is necessary to ensure the high quality of the work carried out at the site and their compliance with environmental requirements.
At the construction site, Deryageldi Orazov, the Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of the new city, presented sketches and layouts of objects of the second stage of the center's development.
The second stage includes the construction of a complex of two-story residential buildings, park areas, lines of modern communication systems, as well as the introduction of software for the electronic transmission of traffic statistics.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stressed that the construction of industrial facilities is one of the priorities of state programs, adding that as part of the industrialization of the country, the new center will have large and small production plants, including recycling factories.
The Halk Maslakhaty Chairman blessed the beginning of the second stage of construction of various facilities of the new city and wished the relevant officials the successful implementation of the urban development program.
