Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Belgium Sapar Begzhanovich Palvanov was at the same time appointed to the post of Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Netherlands and Luxembourg, the country’s official media reported on Sunday.
Palvanov joined the Turkmen foreign service back in 2013 by becoming a specialist, and subsequently a lecturer at the Institute of International Relations. From 2015, he worked at the Americas Department of the Foreign Ministry, and became its Head in 2018.
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov appointed Sapar Palvanov Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Belgium (Brussels) in July last year.
Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Belgium were established in 1993.
