President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on Wednesday arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit, the Tatar President’s Press Service reports.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Berdiniyaz Myatiyev and Ambassador of Russia to Turkmenistan Alexander Blokhin greeted the Tatar President at the Ashgabat International Airport.
The Press Service added that within the framework of the visit, Minnikhanov will attend the plenary session of the Russian-Turkmen Business Forum and the ceremony to mark the laying or the foundation stone of the Ahal province’s main mosque in the city of Arkadag, then visit the KAMAZ's service center in Ashgabat.
President Rustam Minnikhanov is also scheduled to meet with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty chamber of Turkmen bicameral parliament Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
