President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimukamedov sent on behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan and on his own behalf congratulations and best wishes to President of China Xi Jinping, Premier of the State Council of China Li Keqiang, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Li Zhanshu and all friendly people of China on the Chinese New Year - the Spring Festival, the Turkmen official media reported on Saturday.
In his congratulatory letter, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said, "We in Turkmenistan highly value our relations with the People's Republic of China, which are based on the principles of mutual respect and trust, equality and mutual benefit. Currently, the interstate Turkmen-Chinese dialogue is strategic and long-term in nature. We are committed to further expanding relations with the People's Republic of China through the implementation of the existing great potential for the benefit of the two countries."
