Turkmenistan Announces Auction to Privatize 38 State Properties
Service facilities, including stores, cafes, canteens, and health center, administrative buildings, a carpet factory and production facilities will also be auctioned.

The Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan announced an auction for the sale of 38 state properties.

The list of state properties that will be privatized was published in Turkmenistan newspaper’s Friday issue. The auction will be held on February 22 on the digital platform for trading state property at www.e.fineconomic.gov.tm and through the mobile application of this platform.

Among the largest properties that will be auctioned are a cattle and poultry farm in Lebap province with an area of 25,500 square metres, the shopping and entertainment center Dovrebap (8,800 square metres) in the same province, a pipe plant in Dashoguz province (6,400 square metres) and the administrative building of Nur Zaman economic association in Ashgabat (4,300 square metres).

Service facilities, including stores, cafes, canteens, and health center, administrative buildings, a carpet factory and production facilities will also be auctioned.

Citizens of Turkmenistan, foreign nationals, as well as non-state legal entities of Turkmenistan and foreign legal entities are allowed to participate in the auction in the procedure established by the legislation of Turkmenistan.

The Department of Property Relations and Enterprise Support of the Ministry of Finance and Economy and specialized entities of departments of finance and economy of provinces and Ashgabat city carry out consultations on the procedure for participation in the auction and the provision of additional information on the objects for privatization.

All participants of the auction are given the opportunity to get acquainted with the information about the property that will be privatized beforehand. The sale of state-owned properties is carried out with all their obligations.
